If you work hard early, you will be able to enjoy a more comfortable lifestyle with higher rates of compensation throughout the rest of your life.

If you want to live a successful life, reach your goals, and feel incredible about yourself, then working hard is important. Among the greatest character traits that I want to impart on my children is the importance of working hard at things that matter. I am convinced, no question in my mind, that the people who will feel most fulfilled in their later years are the ones who chose to work hard throughout it.

Instead of sitting around complaining because things did not turn out, people who work hard go out to do work and figure things out, that is what the importance of working hard is. Clearly, I am capable of doing more, as I have done plenty of work, I have just not received the credit or impact I do now. I would tell a younger me to believe in myself, keep working hard at the things that I enjoy, but to also play hard whenever I have a chance. If you are working at work that you love, to support the families. Whether we are packing groceries, mailing packages, stocking stocks, curing cancer, or managing other workers, we can see our jobs as acts of love for those we serve. I am a proponent of the importance of doing ones job, paid or not, with focus and intentionality, investing ones entire self in doing so.
